Tec Centro Berks is a workforce and education organization based in Reading, Pennsylvania. We serve the community through adult education, workforce training, employment support, and skill-building programs that help individuals pursue stronger careers and greater economic stability.

Prepare for in-demand careers with hands-on training in plumbing, electrical, OSHA, forklift, and welding. Students gain valuable skills, safety knowledge, and career-focused instruction that can help them take the next step toward employment in the trades.

Culinary Arts

Turn your passion for food into a career. Our 16-week Culinary Arts Program gives students hands-on training in food preparation, knife safety, menu planning, dining room management, and food safety. Students also build resume and interview skills to prepare for success after graduation. Those who complete the program and pass the exam will earn ServSafe certification.

I am grateful to Tec Centro Berks for giving me the opportunity to build my career. The staff and teachers are kind, respectful, and well-prepared, and they truly understand every student, regardless of their background. I completed the CNA program, and they provided everything I needed. In addition to the free education, they assisted me with a uniform and even a laptop. Today, I am employed as a CNA and able to support my family, while also studying to become an RN at RACC to continue growing in the medical field.
