Medical Assistant

Train for Clinical and Administrative Work in Healthcare Settings
The Medical Assistant program prepares students for work in medical offices, clinics, and healthcare environments. Students build both clinical and administrative skills needed to support patients, providers, and office operations.
Students Learn :

Graduates may pursue entry-level roles as medical assistants in clinics, medical offices, healthcare centers, and related healthcare settings.
Certification After Completion
Students who complete the Medical Assistant program may earn the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant certification through the National Healthcareer Association, along with a certificate of completion from Tec Centro Berks.
Requirements :

Medical Assistant students must complete required enrollment steps before beginning the program. Requirements may include a RACC application, Valid Picture ID, high school diploma or equivalent, medical insurance card, Social Security card, required background clearances, health examination form, TB test results, drug test results, flu shot documentation, and COVID-19 vaccination documentation.

Certified Nurse Aide

Prepare for Hands-On Patient Care in Healthcare Settings
The Certified Nurse Aide program prepares students for entry-level patient care roles in long-term care and healthcare environments. Students learn the skills needed to support patients with daily care, safety, communication, and basic healthcare responsibilities.
Students Learn :
Graduates may pursue entry-level opportunities in long-term care facilities, nursing homes, healthcare centers, and related patient care settings.
Career Pathways:
Graduates may pursue entry-level opportunities in long-term care facilities, nursing homes, healthcare centers, and related patient care settings.
Certification After Completion:
Students who complete the CNA program are prepared for the Certified Nurse Aide pathway and related Nurse Aide training requirements.
Requirements :

CNA students must complete required healthcare training documents before beginning the program. Requirements may include background clearances, a health examination, drug screening, TB testing, immunization records, flu shot documentation, COVID-19 vaccination documentation, and the ability to meet physical requirements such as standing for extended periods and lifting at least 50 lbs.

Phlebotomy

Train for Blood Collection and Specimen Handling in Healthcare Settings

The Phlebotomy program prepares students for entry-level work involving blood collection, specimen handling, safety, and patient interaction. Students build the skills needed to support healthcare teams in labs, clinics, hospitals, and other clinical settings.

Certification After Completion :

Students who complete the Phlebotomy program may earn certification through the National Healthcareer Association, along with a certificate of completion from Tec Centro Berks.

The Medical Records and Billing Specialist program prepares students for work in healthcare offices, billing departments, and medical records environments. Students learn skills connected to patient records, insurance, documentation, and healthcare administration.

Graduates may pursue entry-level opportunities in medical offices, billing departments, healthcare administration, insurance-related support, and patient records roles.
Certification After Completion :
Students who complete the Medical Records and Billing Specialist program may receive a certificate of completion from Tec Centro Berks.

Medical Records and Billing Specialist students must complete required enrollment steps before beginning the program. Requirements may include a RACC application, Valid Picture ID, medical insurance card, Social Security card, high school diploma or equivalent, PA background clearance, Federal FBI clearance, and Child Abuse Clearance.
