Missy Orlando

Missy Orlando, Ph.D. Candidate, MBA, is a transformational leader, strategic innovator, and community advocate whose career is defined by visionary leadership and measurable results across the corporate and nonprofit sectors.

As Assistant Vice President for Strategic Partnership Development at Alvernia University, she advances organizational growth through high-impact partnerships and community engagement. 

A seasoned C-suite executive and entrepreneur, Missy has consistently delivered exceptional outcomes—serving as President & COO of The Anderson Group during its fastest period of client acquisition, guiding Malvern National Bank out of OCC receivership as SVP and COO, driving significant financial growth over three strategic cycles as EVP and Chief Marketing & Sales Officer at Caron Treatment Centers, and leading more than 26 mergers and acquisitions at Sovereign Bancorp, contributing to asset growth from $500 million to $33 billion. 

Her earlier work in healthcare philanthropy at Penn State Health St. Joseph included raising over $2.5 million in one year and securing $500,000 in federal funding to launch a mobile health unit. As the founder of multiple strategy and marketing firms, including Strategy12 Consulting, she has supported startups across major U.S. markets. Deeply committed to community impact, Missy collaborates with public and private sector leaders to address social determinants of health, focusing on access, affordability, and essential services for underserved populations. Orlando has been honored as an Athena Award recipient, a Top 25 Woman in Business in Greater Philadelphia, and a 40 Under 40 honoree. She holds a B.S. in Marketing from Penn State University and an MBA in Finance from La Salle University, and is currently pursuing her doctorate in Corporate Leadership at Alvernia University
