Dave Myers
Dave Myers has lived in Reading for the past 14 years. He has been actively involved in the Community. He was the inaugural director of the O’Pake Institute for Ethics, Leadership and Public Service at Alvernia University, the Executive Director at the Berks Alliance, a collaboration of anchor institutions, and as a Senior Fellow at the Community Foundation.
Currently he is working with the Spotlight PA Berks Bureau hosting Community Forums on topics of interest to the community. In addition to the Tec Centro Board, he serves on the Reading Museum Board, the Schuylkill River Greenways and the Berks County Workforce Development Board. He also was a member of the Reading School Board and the BCTV Board.
Dave spent most of his career working in senior positions in state government, including Deputy Chief of Staff for two Pennsylvania Governors. He also served as the Chief of Staff for Bucknell University. He and his wife live in Reading, where they are dedicated to fostering a more vibrant and engaged community. He has four children and four grandhildren.
